Born June 18, 1956 - American actor.
Benben is best known for starring in the sitcom Movie Like (1990-1996). He also played the role of Dr. Sheldon Wallace in the series Private Practice (2008-2012) and starred in his own short lived sitcom in 1998. He also starred in the films Angel of Darkness and Murders in the Land of Radio, as well as the short-lived TV series Kay O'Brien opposite Patricia Kalember. In 1981, while filming the mini-series Gangster Chronicles, he met actress Madeline Stowe and married her a year later. They have a daughter named May, who was born in 1996.
