Dee Wallace (born Dee Wallace, real name Dean Bowers, born December 14, 1948) is an American actress who has played about two hundred roles on the screen and is known as "The Scream Queen" thanks to her participation in horror films.

Dina Bowers was born in Kansas City and changed her name to Dee Wallace, making her big screen debut in the 1975 film The Stepford Wives. Previously, she began her career on the New York theater scene, where she worked as a dancer in musicals and tried to master the acting profession.

Dee Wallace rose to prominence in the late seventies and early eighties for starring in several commercially successful horror films. She is best known for her role in the 1982 science fiction film Alien, directed by Steven Spielberg, which grossed nearly eight hundred million dollars at the box office. She also starred in the films Howl (1980) and Kujo (1983), which had great box office success.

Wallace has played over two hundred screen roles. On television, she starred in the sitcom Always Together (1986-1987), which was closed after one season, and also starred in the series The New Adventures of Lassie (1989-1992). Since the second half of the eighties, Wallace has mainly starred in low-budget, independent or made-for-TV films of various genres, from horror to family comedies. Her perhaps most prominent role during this period was in the 1996 film Scarecrows. In the 2000s, she starred in the sitcom Sons and Daughters (2006-2007), and was also a guest on many TV series, such as Grey's Anatomy, My Name Is Earl and Criminal Minds.

In 2014/2015, Wallace played minor roles in the TV series Grimm and Whisper. In the spring of 2015, she joined the daytime soap opera General Hospital, playing Patricia Spencer, long-lost sister of Luke (Anthony Geary) and Bobby Spencer (Jacqueline Ziman).

Since 1980, Dee Wallace has been married to actor Christopher Stone, who died of a heart attack in 1995.
