Born November 28, 1978, Chicago, Illinois, USA - American actress.
She graduated from Northwestern University in 2000 and soon became active on various television shows, including Ambulance and Angel. In 2002, she landed her first major television role, the sitcom The WB Greetings from Tucson, which was canceled after one season. The following year, she starred in another sitcom on the channel, All About the Andersons, also canceled after one season. In 2006-2007, she starred in the ABC sitcom George Lopez.
In addition to her television roles, Garcia has appeared in several films such as The Good Girl (2002), Alibi (2006) and Robocop (2014). In the 2009-2010 season, she starred in another short-lived TV series, Trauma on NBC, and then joined the Showtime series Dexter, where she starred on a regular basis from 2011 to 2013. In 2015, she starred in the TV Land sitcom The Pretender.
