Born April 13, 1974, Sturso, Gothenburg Commune, Sweden - Swedish film director and screenwriter.
In the 90s he made films about skiers, and in 2001 he graduated from the film school in Gothenburg, where he was able to enroll thanks to them. Together with Eric Hemmendorff, he founded the production company Plattform Produktion, which later produced his films.
His short film Accident at the Bank won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlin Film Festival and Grand Prix at the 2011 Tampere Film Festival.
His films Force Majeure and Square have won awards at the Cannes Film Festival, including the Palme d'Or.
