Bloodhound Gang is a rock band that originated in Philadelphia. The band first established itself in 1992 as Bang Chamber 8 of an alternative genre of music. It included Pop Jimmy and Daddy Long Legs. The collective released one cassette, which was given the name of his own collective. Shortly thereafter, the band's name was changed to the current Bloodhound Gang. But not only the name has changed, the band members have changed the style of the music they wrote.

A limited audience had the opportunity to watch Bloodhound Gang during their first performances, because the guys did not manage to get to the club stages, and they played in Jared Hasselhoff's room, receiving beer and cigarettes as payment. Jared helped the guys record the first demo, Just Another Demo. In 1994 the second demo was also recorded. This cassette interested the record company Cheese Factory Records, with which the rock band signed a contract a little later. After a short period of time, their first mini-album Dingleberry Haze was already released, which was sold only in a hundred copies.

A film with the participation of the Bloodhound Gang, or rather one of its members - Pop Jimmy, was filmed in 1994 and is called The Chick That Was Naked. This is a short film where the musician got a small role. The soundtrack for this film was a song performed by Bloodhound Gang.

In 1996, the guys received an invitation to the German rock festival Rock am Ring, immediately after that and to a similar musical show Use Your Fingers. The group's first album was released by Columbia Records in 1995. It was named Use Your Fingers. From that moment on, the team began to tour the United States.

In 2013, while visiting Odessa, Jared (the band's bass player) committed the illegal act of putting the Russian flag in his panties and sticking it out from the other side, after which he threw the flag into the crowd and asked Putin not to talk about it. This caused a real storm in society. The group's performance in Russia was canceled, and members of the group were banned from entering the country. This was not the first incident. Before that, the same bassist urinated on the flag of Ukraine in Kiev, in response to which Ukrainian hackers blocked all sites belonging to the group.

In August 2013, youth activists pelted the Bloodhound Gang with eggs and tomatoes, forcing the team to flee the hotel. After that, an unknown person attacked the group members at the Anapa airport, and two Cossacks tried to beat the Americans. As a result of the scandal with the Russian flag, all compositions of the group were removed from rotation in the country, a criminal case was opened against the participants and they were banned from entering the Russian Federation for five years.
