Born May 16, 1990, London is a British actor and producer.

Thomas's first role was in the BBC television film, The Adventures of Station Jim. He subsequently starred in several more television films, including the lead role in Bobby's Girl and Postcards for a Miracle (based on the story of Craig Sherold) and the miniseries The Stig from the Junkyard. Thomas received the Best Actor in a mini-series award at the 2003 Monte Carlo Film Festival for his role in The Surety. Another BBC film in which Sangster participated was the 2004 miniseries The Boy in the Feathers.

Love Actually, in which he played the adopted son of Liam Neeson, was his first film role. For this role, Thomas learned to play the drums with his father. He was nominated for a Golden Satellite Award, Phoenix Film Critics Society Awards and a Young Actor Award for his role in this film.

The next time Sangster appeared in the adaptation of the novel "The Boy with Feathers" and also played the young Tristan in the film "Tristan and Isolde". In 2005, Thomas starred in the commercially successful film My Terrible Nanny as the oldest of seven children. And the next year he won the British Teen Choice Award.

In 2007 he appeared in two episodes (Human Nature and The Blood Family) of the third season of Doctor Who. In the same year, he voiced Ferb Fletcher in the Disney animated series Phineas and Ferb and starred in The Last Legion. In 2008, he co-starred with Bob Hoskins on the film Pinocchio. Around the same time, Steven Spielberg chose Thomas for the role of Tintin, however, due to the fact that the film was delayed, Sangster was unable to participate in his filming. In 2009 he took part in the filming of the film "Bright Star", dedicated to the relationship of the poet John Keats with his beloved. At the same time, Thomas was approved for the role of young Paul McCartney in the film "Become John Lennon" - a fictional biographical drama about John Lennon's youth. For this role, he had to learn to play the guitar almost anew, as Sangster is right-handed and McCartney is left-handed. The film was released in 2010.
