Born January 30, 1990, Knoxville is an American actor.
When he was six years old, the family moved to Hollywood. He began acting in films in 1999 while still at school. Jake graduated from Riverside Drive Elementary School in Sherman Oaks.
From 2001 to 2004 he starred in the TV series "Lizzie Maguire" .
In 2002 he received the Young Actor award for his supporting role in the film Artificial Intelligence. Also has 7 nominations for this award in different years.
