Born August 1, 1944, Budapest, Hungary - Hungarian film producer.
His first profession was that of a hairdresser. Together with Mario Cassar, he founded the company Carolco Pictures, specializing in the production of blockbusters (the Rambo series, Die Hard, as well as several films about the Terminator, etc.), but went bankrupt after the failure at the box office of the films Showgirls and Isle of Thugs.
In 1989 Vaina founded Intercom, Hungary's largest film and DVD distributor, and took over as CEO of the company.
On January 15, 2011, the Hungarian government appointed him as a government commissioner in charge of the strategy for the preservation and development of Hungarian cinema.
Owns two casinos in Hungary.
