Born November 17, 1911 in Hungary.
Hungarian actor.
Since 1935, after graduating from the Theater Academy, he worked in the theaters "Belvarosi" and "Comedy" (Budapest).
He performed mainly in plays by contemporary authors.
After the liberation of Hungary (1945) - in the troupe of the National Theater, where Bashti's realistic talent manifested itself.
In 1935, Bashti began acting in films. The most famous films are "Fire" (1948), "Derine" (1951), "The sea has risen" (1953) and others.
Worked as a radio director.
Since 1950 he has been teaching at the Institute of Theater and Cinema.
Honored Artist of the Hungarian People's Republic (1950) .
He passed away on June 1, 1977.
