Born April 28, 1973, Omaha, Nebraska, USA - American actor and comedian.
His mother, Dora Mesa, is a Cuban professor and his father, Umberto Garcia, is a Chilean doctor. He grew up in Southern California and went to high school in San Clemente.
Jorge Garcia began his passion for acting in college and most of all he was attracted to comedic roles. After graduating, Jorge Garcia joined one of the acting studios in Beverly Hills. Around the same time, he began appearing on TV shows, both as a permanent cast member and as a guest artist. In parallel with filming on television, Jorge played a lot in the theater. He still did not betray his talents as a comedian and more than once appeared in the famous production of Laughter Factory in Los Angeles. Garcia starred in films, he played one of the supporting roles in the film "Welcome, or No Neighbors" (2006). In 2010 he appeared as a special guest star in one episode of the television series "How I Met Your Mother", and in 2011 in the series "Edge" and "Mr. Sunshine" .

Garcia has been married since 2005, his wife's name is Emily. They met because they were closest neighbors in Hawaii.
Besides swimming, Jorge has another hobby, if not a passion. He loves to eat, especially fatty foods: donuts, pizza. As a child, he received the nickname "Robin Bobin Barabek", at first he was offended, but then he got used to the nickname and happily responded to it. Back in high school, he started moonlighting in diners so that he could have access to plenty of food. Because of this, he was fired. Among his friends, Jorge is known for his truly gigantic collection of food packaging.
On September 14, 2010 the album "Hurley" by Weezer was released. The name was in honor of Hurley, whom Garcia played in the TV series Lost. Jorge was also the guest vocalist for the band's concert.
