Born January 1, 1975 - Mexican animator, artist and filmmaker.
Grew up in Tijuana. Took part in the California Institute of the Arts. Created the short film Carmelo, which won an Emmy in 2001. In 2001, he created the El Macho web series for Sony Pictures. He also did character designs for the animated series ChalkZone .
Jorge is married to Sandra Ekiue. Together they created El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, which aired in 2007 on Nickelodeon. He was an animator of the animated series "Crazy", worked on the film "The Book of Life".
