Born April 13, 1980 - American actress.
She graduated from the University of Evansville in Indiana and then moved to New York to pursue an acting career.
From 2005 to 2007, she starred in ABC's daytime soap opera All My Children. She then appeared in the independent film Death in Love, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival .
In 2010, Giddish starred on Fox's Past Life, which was canceled after several episodes. From 2010 to 2011, she starred on NBC's Haunting, and guest-starred on three episodes of The Good Wife .
On June 27, 2011, it was announced that Giddish was joining the cast of NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as new detective Amanda Rollins. She also reprized this role in the series "Chicago Police Department".
