Born March 17, 1969, Harrowgate, North Yorkshire, England - English actor.
He studied education at Harrowgate Grammar School.
He began his acting career, appearing in English Murder and Heartbeat, and played a supporting role in Bhaji on the Beach before landing Guy's first notable role in Male Striptease. Later, Spear appeared in several films, including the films "On the Guard for Death" and "The Interpreter", in which he played the role of the heroine's brother Nicole Kidman. However, most of his work has been on television: the sitcom Rascals, the dramas End of the Working Day, The Last Detective, Warrior Princess and The Racalye Club, as well as the BBC 2005 film adaptation of Charles Dickens's Bleak House .
In 2008, he appeared alongside Martina McCutchen on Beach of Memories. In 2011, he played a repairman whose renovated items come to life in the mystical television series Haven. Spear appears as John Foster in the penultimate and final episode of Skins season 4 .
In 2010, Speer directed the short film Mom.
