Born June 5, 1982 in San Diego, California is an American film director, producer, and actor.
At the age of twenty-three, he signed with HSI Productions, and in 2006 won the MVPA for Directorial Debut of the Year - the music video for Switchfoot Stars.
In 2007 he won his first Latin American MTV Music Awards for his work with Mexican pop star Belinda.
Made his television debut with The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (2010).
In 2012, Speer directed his first feature film, Step Up 4.
