The popular group Goldfinger was formed back in 1994 in California by John Feldman and Simon Williams. Working in a shoe store, the guys planned to create a new creative team, but, unfortunately, the guitar and bass were not enough for such an undertaking. In their search for drummers, John and Simon turned to Darrin Pfeiffer with their recordings. Admiring the guys' talent, he decided to join them. Soon the staffing issue with the guitarist was resolved - it was Feldman's friend Charlie Paulson, who very quickly joined the team.

Rising stars' first EP "Richter", which consisted of 6 tracks, received a huge amount of positive reviews and successfully took first positions in the rankings of college radio. The first full-length album was released in 1995 and had the same name as "Goldfinger". And he went on sale in the spring of 1996.

It's worth noting that 1996 was a very successful and incredibly productive year for artists. Firstly, the first video clips for the compositions "Only a Day", "Mable", "Here in your Bedroom" are released. Secondly, it's hard to believe, but in 1996 the musicians managed to play 382 concerts. Collaboration with such popular groups as No Doubt, Sex Pistols and Reel Big Fish undoubtedly brought the guys even more fame. And gigs at huge venues like the Vans Warped Tour multiplied that result. Plus, listening and watching Goldfinger was a pleasure.

Goldfinger's second album, released in 1997, was titled Hang-Up's and included More Today Than Yesterday, which became the soundtrack to The Waterboy.

In 1998, there were some personnel changes: instead of Simon Williams, who left the band, John's old friend, bassist Kelly Lemieux, came. The band's creativity continued, and already in 1999 they released their second EP Darrin's Coconut Ass-Live From Omaha, which included 8 wonderful cover versions.

Following the release of their next album, "Stomping Ground," the guys went on a tour of the US and Europe. The musicians recorded one of the concerts and gave fans the opportunity to watch Goldfinger online.

In 2002, Charlie Paulson was replaced by Brian Arthur, who had previously played in the band Unloco. In the same year the new album "Open Your Eyes" was released. Subsequent albums "Disconnection Notice" (2005) and "Hello Destiny" (2008), like the previous ones, were a huge success with the public.
