An English band from Manchester (UK) performing 1980s electropop compositions. The musicians themselves call their style "Noir'n'b and doom pop". New Musical Express called them “Officially the. next. big. thing ". Their debut video for the single Wonderful Life has amassed nearly 20 million views on YouTube (as of 11/14/2010). They recorded their first video, Wonderful Life, and spent ? 20 on it. There were two versions of the name for the group, the choice fell on Hurts, it has two meanings: the first is a unit of measurement of frequency (the heart beats at a frequency of approximately 1 Hz in a calm state, it is noteworthy that the word Herz (German Herz) means "heart" ), and the second is emotion (English hurt - suffering; mental pain).
