Started his career as a storyboard artist for advertisements and music videos.
He made his film debut with the short film "Tyger! Tyger!" (1998). Then he began making films for television: "The Thing" (2004), "The Maggot Man" (2005) and "Mammoth" (2006) .
In 2010, Cox directed his first big-screen film, Miss Nobody.
