Born on September 6, 1934 in the village of Ladan, Chernihiv region. Graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theatrical Art named after I. Karpenko-Kary. He was a stage actor. In 1965 he was an actor of the Kiev Youth Theater. Currently - an actor of the Kiev theater "Golden Gate". He acted in films. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1998). He was a TV presenter of "Grandfather Khariton" of the Evening Kazka on Ukrainian television.
