Born on May 10, 1934 in the village of Dobryn (now Yelsk), Gomel region, Belarus.
Graduated from the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (1958) in Minsk. He worked in theaters in Tashkent, Maykop, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk.
From 1965 to 1995 - actor of the Lesya Ukrainka Kiev Academic Russian Drama Theater.
In 1973-1995, he was a teacher at the Kiev State Institute of Theatrical Art named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary. Author of the book "Interrupted Confession: A Story-Remembrance" (Kiev, 1996). Gruvemuvestart

He died on July 29, 1995 in Kiev. Buried at the Forest Cemetery of the Ukrainian capital.
