Was born on April 5, 1920 in Sevastopol. In 1941 he graduated from the Crimean Theater School. Member of the Great Patriotic War. From 1946 to 1956 - an actor in theaters in different cities. From 1956 to 1967 - actor of the Central Academic Theater of the Soviet Army. Since 1967 - actor of the Moscow theater named after M.N. Ermolova. Over the years of his work at the Ermolovsky Theater, he has played more than 100 roles.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1979). People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1995) .
He passed away on June 21, 2000 in Moscow.
