Was born on January 1, 1933 in Moscow. In 1956 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of P.V. Massalsky) .
Since 1956 he has been an actor at the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army. Over the years, he played more than 90 roles. He worked a lot in concert brigades, visited all military districts and fleets of Russia. By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of February 4, 2006, LS Kukulyan was awarded the title of "People's Artist of the Russian Federation".
