In his youth, he dreamed of a career as a journalist and started as a correspondent until he discovered a stand-up for himself. He performed in Parisian clubs, while continuing to work in the media.
In 1992, Olivier went to Sarajevo to report on the war in Yugoslavia. Following this, he goes to Burkina Faso, where he creates a documentary about the country. Returning to Paris, Lusto began writing short films and acting in theater. Olivier worked at the Teatro Nouvelle Burgundy and the Teatro Commune in Saint-Denis.
In 2018, the actor starred in Nadav's drama “Synonyms”, which won the Golden Bear and FIPRESCI awards at the Berlin International Film Festival.
