Born November 14, 1958, Talance, Gironde, France - French film director, actor, screenwriter and film producer. He took acting lessons while still a police officer. He began his career in cinema in the late 1980s, but left the service only in 1994. He is best known as the director of the crime thriller "Naberezhnaya Orfevr, 36", for which he was nominated for three Cesar awards in 2005.
