is an English actor, comedian, writer and playwright who is best known for his role as Neil in the cult BBC comedy Young and as Ralph Filthy in Filthy Rich & Catflap.
Born in Westminster, London. He was educated at the King's House and the School of Westminster, and then attended the University of Sussex and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
Co-founder of the London Comedy Store member and original contributor to The Comics are the pioneers of the alternative comedy movement in the UK. Over the next 20 years, he continued to appear in film, theater and television. Nigel is also the author of several books, plays, radio plays and television scripts, as well as a small amount of poetry. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts degree from Edinburgh Napier University in June 2011.
