Born September 22, 1932, Akhaltsikhe, Georgian SSR, USSR - Armenian Soviet actor.

Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR.

1955 - graduated from the Yerevan Fine Arts and Theater Institute. Soon he was accepted into the troupe of the Yerevan Academic Drama Theater named after A. Sundukyan. Since 1996 - lecturer and professor at the Yerevan Institute of Theater and Cinema.
