Gurgen Janibekyan - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born May 30, 1897 in Yerevan. Armenian Soviet actor. People's Artist of the Armenian SSR (1938). People's Artist of the USSR (1967). In 1917 he graduated from the teachers' seminary in Yerevan. Participated in the performances of the troupes of Zarifyan-Abelian, Armenian, Kharazyan. In 1923-24 he worked at the Armenian theater in Tiflis. Since 1924 he was an actor in the Yerevan Theater named after A. Sundukyan. He died on September 27, 1978 in Yerevan.
