Born June 10, 1965, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England, UK - British actress, producer, fashion model and designer.
Her father is Roy Leonard Hurley, Protestant, official; mother - Angela Hurley, Catholic, school teacher. She has an older sister - Kate Hurley and a younger brother - Michael James Hurley. Hurley graduated from London Studio Center, where she studied dance and theater. After Hurley worked in theater and television.
Hurley made her film debut in Bruce Beresford's Aria (1987). In 1988, after the end of filming in the miniseries Christabel.
Hurley made his Hollywood debut in Passenger 57. Despite the popularity of the film, this role did not bring Hurley the attention of producers and directors, and there were no offers of worthwhile roles. Hurley was disappointed and decided to return to her native England. Her popularity soon began to grow, thanks in part to her relationship with Hugh Grant, as well as her exposure as a model at the top cosmetics house, Estee Lauder Companies.
In 1994, Elizabeth founded Simian Films with Hugh Grant (in partnership with Castle Rock Entertainment). Their first joint project was the medical thriller Extreme Measures.
