Imre Sinkovic, famous Hungarian theater and film actor, was born on November 22, 1928 in the beautiful city of Budapest. Since childhood, the boy dreamed of becoming an engineer. He studied diligently, grew up very inquisitive. But at the same time, Imre was passionate about theater. He took part in all school performances, sometimes even in city ones. And then one day, when the guy was already a student of the engineering faculty and once again played on the stage of the university, one famous theater director noticed him. He invited the young talent to join his troupe as an extra. Then Shinkovich decided that an engineer is not what he wants to do all his life. He dropped out of university and entered the Institute of Theater and Film. In 1951, the young man was accepted into the collective of one of the best Budapest theaters - the National Theater. In the same year, the actor's film career began. The initial roles of Imre Shinkovich were boring and monotonous. He played young workers, peasants, revolutionaries, in general, various social representatives. But the actor has always stood out among his colleagues both on stage and in life. He could not come to terms with the fact that all his life he would have to play those characters that he did not like. Perhaps it was precisely the fact that Imre was desperately trying to get his message across to directors and actors that made him a reputation for being a very conflicted person. In fact, he was a deeply thoughtful and talented person with his views on art and life in general. Already being an old man, the actor still fascinated the audience both from the stage and from the screens, because he always succeeded in both tragic and comic roles. Throughout his life, there are more than 85 films with Imre Shinkovich. The actor passed away on January 18, 2001.
