Born on May 12, 1937 in Kiev.
In 1960 he graduated from the Kiev Conservatory, class of violin A.G. Manilov, in 1968 - the Gnessin Institute in the composition class of G.I. Litinsky.
Author of more than 2,000 thousand opuses - operas (among which "Doctor Zhivago" based on the novel by Boris Pasternak), ballets, symphonies, various chamber music for adults and children, more than 30 instrumental concerts.
Member of the Union of Composers of Moscow.
He passed away on August 16, 2010 in Moscow.
