Vaironis Jakans was born on June 10, 1927 in the small town of Jaunelgava. He began his studies at a local high school, which he managed to graduate only after the end of the war. The fact is that in 1944 the future actor was mobilized by the Nazi army to work as an assistant in one of the flight units. After the defeat of Germany, he went through all the litigation of the filtration camps, as a result of which he returned safely to his homeland.
In 1952 he successfully graduated from the conservatory. Vitola, after which he performed on the stage of the Jelgava Drama Theater. The actor worked here for only one year, and later decided to move to the Upit Theater. The best roles of Vyronis Yakans are associated with him. The most famous performances with his participation: Times of land surveyors, Family business and Saturday evening.
He first appeared in films in 1968. The debut took place in the film When rain and wind knock on the window. After that, the actor got only minor and minor roles at a film studio in Riga. Films with Vyronis Jakans include eleven films, the most famous of which are: Be my mother-in-law and In the shadow of death. The actor played his last role in big cinema in 1986, it was the film Children, he and she. After that he devoted himself entirely to the theater.
