In September 1937, in a town in the Donbass (Chasov Yar), Joseph Davydovich Kobzon was born. In Dnepropetrovsk, in the mining college, from which he graduated in 1956, he made his debut appearance on the stage. The next three years - army service, where he was invited to a military ensemble. The period from 1959 to 1965 is the stage of the formation of Joseph Kobzon as a singer: from the soloist of the All-Union Radio to the soloist-vocalist of the Mosconcert.
