Soviet poet, screenwriter, director and actor.
Was born on September 20, 1922 in Kharkov.
Graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute (1952).
In 1939-1945 he served in the SA, a participant in the Great Patriotic War.
Pozhenyan's first book was a collection of poems "Wind from the Sea" (1955).
He wrote about 50 songs, many of which became popular (for example, “Two Banks”, “Song of a Friend”, “On the Malakhov Kurgan (Maki)”), released 4 discs of songs and poems, participated in the creation of 4 films.
In 1972, together with Vasily Aksyonov and Ovid Gorchakov, he wrote a parody novel of the spy thriller Gene Green - Untouchable under the pseudonym Grivadiy Gorpozhaks (a combination of the names and surnames of real authors).
In 1993 he signed the "Letter of Forty-Two" .
He died on September 19, 2005 in Moscow. Buried at the Peredelkino cemetery.
