Grigory Pozhenyan - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Soviet poet, screenwriter, director and actor.
Was born on September 20, 1922 in Kharkov. Graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute (1952). In 1939-1945 he served in the SA, a participant in the Great Patriotic War. Pozhenyan's first book was a collection of poems "Wind from the Sea" (1955). He wrote about 50 songs, many of which became popular (for example, “Two Banks”, “Song of a Friend”, “On the Malakhov Kurgan (Maki)”), released 4 discs of songs and poems, participated in the creation of 4 films. In 1972, together with Vasily Aksyonov and Ovid Gorchakov, he wrote a parody novel of the spy thriller Gene Green - Untouchable under the pseudonym Grivadiy Gorpozhaks (a combination of the names and surnames of real authors). In 1993 he signed the "Letter of Forty-Two" .
He died on September 19, 2005 in Moscow. Buried at the Peredelkino cemetery.
