Born on March 9, 1900.

In 1919-1920 he served in the Red Army.

In 1920-1922 he studied at the Tomsk Technological Institute, in 1922-1923 - at the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. In 1923 he entered the art studio of D.N. Kardovsky.

In 1927 he graduated from the acting department of the State Customs Committee.

In 1923-1945 he collaborated as a cartoonist with Moscow newspapers, in 1944-1945 - with newspapers in Kiev.

In 1945-1951 - an actor of the Film Actor's Studio Theater. He worked on dubbing.
