Gallner was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He attended West Chester East High School. He landed a role in one of the auditions, where he came to join his sister.
His first roles were guest appearances on the series "Amy Fair" and "Close To Home". He soon landed the role of Beaver Casablanquez in the main cast of Veronica Mars season 2 .
In addition, he played the superhero Bart Allen several times in the series Smallville. Revisited guest roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Detective Rush and Bones, as well as a role in the independent film Subline.
