Born July 11, 1970 - American actor and fashion model.
He began his modeling career in Paris. He has worked in Europe, Japan and the United States for Calvin Klein, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. After deciding to pursue an acting career, Chambers moved to New York, where he studied acting at HB Studios for four years. In 1995, like many other models, Chambers made his debut with a role in the daytime soap opera Underworld. He was soon fired from the soap and after that he tried to build a career in prime-time series. He appeared in several television movies, and in 1998 landed a regular role in the prime-time soap opera Four Corners, an attempt to direct a new version of Dallas, which was canceled after two episodes. The following year, he made his big-screen debut in Freedom Heights, after which he starred as Jennifer Lopez's fiance in the romantic comedy Wedding Planner (2001), after which he starred in the films The Musketeer and The Zodiac. In 2005, Shonda Rhimes recruited Chambers in her Grey's Anatomy, which suddenly proved very successful and eventually became one of the most talked about and rated TV projects of the decade. In 2007, he, along with other actors, won the United States Actors Guild Award for Best Performance by a Cast in a Drama Series.
