Erin graduated from Brigham Young University.
Erin made her film debut in 1995, voicing a role in the English version of the Japanese animated film Whisper of the Heart. In 2004, Chambers played the role of Katy on the television series Drake and Josh. In total, she played in 44 films and television series.
In 2008, Erin produced The Angels Commission, in which she also played the role of Rachel Taylor's sister.
Erin is also a singer and in 2011 she sang the song "The Merry Old Land of Oz" to the cartoon "Tom and Jerry and the Wizard of Oz".
