Filmmaker.
Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Culture (1980) .
Since 1970 - Assistant Director at the Mosfilm film studio ("Rally", "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears", "Fox Hunt", "Winter Evening in Gagra", "Kinsfolk", etc.), since 1980 - director.
Committed suicide under tragic circumstances. He was buried at the Khovanskoye cemetery in Moscow.
