Christian Clavier - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, actor, screenwriter, producer, director.
Born May 6, 1952 in Paris (France) in a family of employees. After elementary school, he graduated from the prestigious Louis Pasteur Lyceum in Neuilly-sur-Seine, where he met his future wife Marie-Anne Chazelle. After graduating from the Lyceum, Clavier studied for two years at the Paris Institute of Politics as a political scientist, and also for some time was in the French Communist Party. Leaving politics and political science, together with his high school friends and wife, he puts on the first performance entitled "There is no Georges" in the cafe-theater "Colonna". Soon Christian and Anne-Marie began to be called “the most explosive couple in the history of cafe-theaters.” Gruvemuvestart After studying at the Paris Institute of Politics, Christian began his acting career with the comedy theater troupe Le Splendid (The Magnificent Team) and took part in a large number of comedy films. Around the same time, Clavier was studying acting at the Zilla Chelton Theater, where he was working on the role of Hamlet. He achieved widespread success, playing in the film "Aliens" a comic character from the Middle Ages, known as "Jacuy the Passionate". His signature "Okkkkkkkayyyyyyy !!!" became very popular after the release of the film.
In most Russian translations of the comedy, the silly and unkempt character of Christian Clavier is named "Jacuy the Passionate". Meanwhile, such a translation is erroneous: in fact, the name of the comic character Clavier is more correctly translated as "Jacques the simpleton" and has deep historical roots. Medieval French feudal lords mockingly called their peasants "Jacques bon homme" - "Jacques the simpleton"; hence the name of the peasant uprising of the era of the Hundred Years War - "Jacqueria" (1358). In one of the translations, one can hear the variant "Zhakui-stunned", which also seems quite appropriate. Christian Clavier, who in his youth was fond of social ideas and even was at one time in the French Communist Party, managed to embody in this colorful collective character all the shortcomings of the French commoners of the Middle Ages. After Aliens, he became a recognized star, taking part in films such as Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar, Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra (the main role of Gall Asterix), as well as in the remake of the movie Aliens, Aliens in America "2001. Christian Clavier is also best known for his films Between an Angel and a Devil, the critically acclaimed historical television series Napoleon (2002), which won the prestigious Emmy Award. He has also played several roles in other television series.
The most notable acting duets with Jean Reno in the movie "Aliens", "Operation Stew" "," Corsican "and Gerard Depardieu in the films" Asterix and Obelix against Caesar / Mission Cleopatra "," Between an angel and a demon ".
