Born February 21, 1979, London (Ontario), Canada - Canadian cartoonist.
Prior to publishing his own material, O'Malley illustrated the Hopeless Savages: Ground Zero miniseries for Oni Press. He was also responsible for type in many Oni Press comics, including most of Chyna Clagston's work, between 2002 and 2005.
O'Malley's first original graphic novel was Lost at Sea (2003). He is widely known for the six-volume comic series Scott Pilgrim (2004-2010), the last volume of which was released on July 20, 2010. All of his graphic novels were published by the Oni Press branch based in Portland, Oregon.
Brian is also known as a songwriter and musician (under the pseudonym Kupek and as a member of several Toronto bands that existed for a short time).
