Glatter has directed nearly sixty television series and films over a three-decade career. In 1985, she directed the short film Tales of Meeting and Parting, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Fiction Short Film.
Glatter has directed several films, including Occasional and The Proposal, but has achieved her greatest success on television, directing such TV shows as Twin Peaks, NYPD, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
