Born August 27, 1969 in Houston, Texas is an American actress and director.

She began her theatrical career at the age of five in local theater. She graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree. Then she entered the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, after four years of participation in which she began her career on the New York stage.

Wilson made her television debut in 1989 on an episode of the sitcom The Cosby Show. Wilson mainly worked on the stage, and in 1991 she won the Theater World Award for her performance in Good Times Kill.
