Born November 30, 1978, Richmond, Kentucky, USA is an American comic book writer best known for his work on the Walking Dead and Invincible comic series for Image Comics and Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Zombies for Marvel Comics. He worked with Todd McFarlane on the Haunt series, and with him is one of the five owners of Image Comics and the only one who was not a co-founder of the publisher. Kirkman is involved in the production of the TV series The Walking Dead, based on his comic book, and wrote the script for the fourth episode, Vatos.
