May 1, 1900, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - December 26, 1988, Gross Point, USA - American actress.

After moving to Hollywood with her parents, she took dance lessons for a while, then spent two seasons playing in the theater. In 1919, the actress made her film debut with a small role in King Vidor's Best Times.

Her career briefly flourished in 1924, when Julann entered the WAMPAS Baby Stars list of up-and-coming young actresses every year and played a princess in The Thief of Baghdad, starring Douglas Fairbanks. This work is the only significant appearance of the actress on the movie screen - she was unable to break into real stars and subsequently starred mainly in secondary roles.

In the same 1924, her name was involved in a scandal related to the death of actor and director Thomas Ince - he died under mysterious circumstances during a sailing trip on a yacht by newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hirst, where Julann was among the famous guests and Hollywood starlets ... The end of her career came with the beginning of the talkie era. In 1934, Julann starred in the historical film Cleopatra (and her name was not even mentioned in the credits) and retired.
