December 18, 1909 - June 27, 1964 - American actress.
She was born in London and educated in Australia, where she made her debut as a dancer in ballet at the age of sixteen. In 1933, Barry immigrated to the United States, where she made her film debut in Carolina a year later. Over the next twenty years of her film career, the actress appeared in supporting roles in more than fifty films, including One Night of Love (1934), I Met Him in Paris (1937), When Ladies Meet (1941) and The Devil's Mask "(1946). In addition to her film work, Barry has also acted on stage, appearing twice on Broadway.
From 1938 until her death, the actress was married to Canadian Paul McLean Bolton. Mona Barry died in Los Angeles in the summer of 1964 at the age of 54, and was buried next to her husband in the suburbs of Toronto. Her contributions to the US film industry are starred on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
