Born October 18, 1992, Dublin, Ireland - Irish actor.
Together with his brother, he spent seven years in 13 different foster families. His mother died of a heroin overdose when he was 12 years old, after which he was raised by his maternal grandmother and aunt.
As a child, Keogan appeared in school plays, but was kicked out for "idleness." He started his acting career in 2011. He saw a casting announcement in a local shop window, and played a small role as Aido in Between the Canals, which was released in 2011. He then studied acting at The Factory, a local Dublin school. In the same year, at the age of 18, he appeared in Fairy Tale.
Keogan starred in two films in 2017. He received the Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actor for his performance in Killing a Sacred Deer. In 2018, The Hollywood Reporter described Keoghan's role as "a great thing" over the past three years of his work, and in 2019 he was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star.
In 2019, he played the role of the Soviet soldier Pavel, called up to eliminate the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the mini-series "Chernobyl".
