Leonard Barry Corbin, aka Barry Corbin, is an American actor with a filmography in over a hundred films.
Corbyn began his career as a dramatic actor in the 1960s, but today he can most likely be seen in the role of a local sheriff, military leader, or some other authority figure, although in some cases, he, in fact, portrayed villains. He is well known to moviegoers, as General Beringer from the movie "War Games" ("War Games"), Corbin lost most of his hair in 1990 due to alopecia areata. Since then, he has played various roles with a shaved head, a cowboy hat, or sometimes a wig.
From 1979 until 1984, he appeared in several episodes of Dallas as sheriff. In 1983, Corbin starred in the famous television series "The Thorn Birds". From 1990 to 1995, Corbyn played former CBS astronaut Maurice Minifield on the television series Northern Exposure, for which he received an Emmy nomination.
