Born September 20, 1965, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - American film and television actor.
Son of Maria Elena (nee Varela) and Richard S. Rasler. He started surfing and skateboarding at a semi-professional level when he moved to Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, competing in local competitions in these sports. Then he and his family moved to Los Angeles, where he became interested in martial arts. After graduating from high school, Robert began to take acting classes at Loft Studio with Peggy Fury and William Taylor.
The first role in the movie was the character of Max from the comedy "Oh, this science", and then the same year the picture "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddie's Revenge" was released. In 1986, he starred in the comedy horror film Vamp, and skateboarder Tommy Hook in the movie Crash. In 1991 he starred in the continuation of the film adaptation of Stephen King's story, filmed for television - "Sometimes They Come Back". In the early 1990s, he starred in several television series that were quickly closed - "Outcasts" and "Falling Angel". He is best known for his role as Warren Kieffer in the second season of the series "Babylon 5". Together with Mark Hamill and Malcolm McDowell, he starred for the computer game "Wing Commander IV", consisting of video segments.
Rasler also appeared in guest roles in the series "Life Stories", "Snoops", "Detective Rush", "Anti-Terror Squad", "24 Hours", "Snoop", "Star Trek: Enterprise". He also starred in the Heineken commercial directed by Oliver Stone.
