Born October 5, 1951 - American actress.
She spent the first 10 years of her life traveling the country with her parents and two sisters. After graduating from DuVal Senior High School in Maryland, the future actress moved to New York, where she studied art and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 1974, Allen joined the theater group, and three years later returned to New York to start classes at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.
