July 26, 1895, San Francisco - August 27, 1964, Los Angeles is an American comedic actress who became world famous after participating in the George Burns and Gracie Allen Show. For her contribution to art, the actress was awarded her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .
The actress struggled with heart disease for a long time, and eventually died of a heart attack in Hollywood in 1964. She was buried in a crypt in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
