Born February 15, 1970 - American actress.
After graduating from college, she entered the Juilliard School of Drama, while performing on the off-Broadway stage. She made her Broadway debut in 1995 in the play School of Scandal, after which she was invited to play the lead role in the London production of Popcorn. In 1998, Dodds made her big screen debut with a role in The Story of Everlasting Love, after which she appeared in the independent films Urbania, Live Bait, and Highway 84.
In 1997, Dodds married a London photographer and settled permanently in England. In 2005, she gained critical attention by playing the lead role on the one woman show, My Name Is Rachel Corrie. Also in the 2000s, Dodds periodically appeared on British television, in the series "Ghosts", "Poirot Agatha Christie" and "Hotel Babylon". Dodds returned to the United States at the end of the decade, appearing on House and Lie to Me, and then taking on supporting roles in Detroit 1-8-7 and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation New York. On a regular basis, Dodds has starred in the pilots for NBC's I Am Victor in 2013, and The Fugitive (ABC, 2015).
